beach time & a play!

It was hot after school one day,
so I sprayed the girls with the hose
and we did water balloons.
Nothing like throwing water
balloons at your little sister,
especially when she just throws hers
on the ground.

On Thursday, Kalia's class had a beach day

Maya and Mrs. Coon became BFFs
at the beach. Maya literally just wanted
to hang out with her. Maya's friend Keiko
did show up at the beach for a while that day as well.

the kids out of their normal element.

We are really going to miss those guys!

It has been a really busy few weeks, but we are out of school
and having a lazy day.  So sad to say good-bye to our friends the Butlers,
but got to spend some great time with them!

Kindergarten & 3rd Grade

I know, I know, Kalia kept getting blocked by the 3rd graders coming out!  But I had already almost taken down another Mom to get closer and I couldn't get a better positioning.  So frustrating!!  After her May Day performance, we took Kalia to a special lunch, with just mommy and daddy and she got to have a Kalia day.  I ended up going to work after and Erik and her played checkers.  She's getting pretty good.
