proud mommy & daddy

New Bulletin Board for Kalia's classroom,
this is so fun for me!

This kids all colored in their own trick or treaters with
their 8th grade buddies.
Then I took photos and attached their faces to the bodies they colored.
Then, they also made faces on the pumpkins.

We had a big week and we are so proud of our two girls.

Maya: On Thursday Maya wore her undies all day and went potty in the potty every time! The other morning, she even called to me to say that she had to go - she had woken up dry! At Maya's swim lesson this week, she swam under water 4 times! Maya has also decided that she does not want to be a princess for Halloween, but instead a polka dot kitty. I have no idea where she got this idea, but she is quite adamant. She is so funny how she has such unique 2 year old ideas. We took the girls to the doctor last week for Kalia's 5 year check-up (yes, we were a little late) and the Dr. was so interested in Maya and her over the top personality. She said, "it's like she thinks she's 5 or older."

Kalia: We had our parent teacher conference this week and we were really happy with everything Mrs. Coon said. I won't brag too much, but evidently if the whole class was made up with Kalias, she would have the perfect class. She is really high academically and socially- seriously proud mama moment! She even said her lines this week for the Thanksgiving play they are practicing (last week she didn't want to, but now understands the whole class will be up on stage).
