Halloween Dance & XTERRA

Getting ready for the Sacred Hearts Halloween Dance
The Friday before Halloween was the dance-
wow, Maya is only 3 and has already been to two school dances!
It's good to be a little sister sometimes...

The next morning was the XTERRA Trail Runs.
Here's the Duke's Beach House team- we had 40 runners,
(10) 10K runners and (30) 5K Runners.

Hey look it's me!
Erik says that in this photo I had no idea what I
was in for in the next 32 minutes 58 seconds.
And boy was he right! Running up the mountain,
muddle slides, jumping over tree trunks, sliding
down the switchbacks, finishing by running all of DT Flemings Beach-
but I did much better than I expected!

Here I come into the finish
with Erik and the girls cheering.
I could hear Erik saying, "there's mommy!"

Here I just want to get to the end and stop running!
I ended up 159 out of 570,
6th in my age group.
I was very happy with my finish!

We all came home with medals and were very proud of ourselves!

Bobby & Chelsey Wedding Trip: Part2

The flower girls are ready!

Almost time to walk down the aisle.
Maya was so tired, since we had to skip her nap,
that she was crashing at picture time.
I think this might be one of the only smiles we caught.

Kalia mostly danced with me,
but Maya was off dancing with anyone
and everyone. The girls had a blast!

Bobby & Chelsey's Wedding Trip: Part 1

Auntie Kim, Papa, Uncle Tim & Allie

We made it to California.
So I had a brilliant idea to take the girls (by myself)
on a red eye, traveling through Oahu.
Well, we made it. Actually, the girls are great travelers,
and were able to recover from very little sleep very well.
Me, not so much.
As soon as we pre-boarded on Oahu,
the girls put their heads down and fell asleep-
while people were still boarding.
