Getting ready for the Sacred Hearts Halloween Dance
The Friday before Halloween was the dance-
wow, Maya is only 3 and has already been to two school dances!
It's good to be a little sister sometimes...

The next morning was the XTERRA Trail Runs.
Here's the Duke's Beach House team- we had 40 runners,
(10) 10K runners and (30) 5K Runners.

Hey look it's me!
Erik says that in this photo I had no idea what I
was in for in the next 32 minutes 58 seconds.
And boy was he right! Running up the mountain,
muddle slides, jumping over tree trunks, sliding
down the switchbacks, finishing by running all of DT Flemings Beach-
but I did much better than I expected!
Here I come into the finish
with Erik and the girls cheering.
I could hear Erik saying, "there's mommy!"
Here I just want to get to the end and stop running!
I ended up 159 out of 570,
6th in my age group.
I was very happy with my finish!
Can you see me- I'm so happy at this point to be finished!

I guess all that soccer running has paid off:)

We all came home with medals and were very proud of ourselves!
