Back to Maui
So on the way home to Maui, we brought a souvenir with us- her name is Tutu!
So grateful that Mom could come back with us-
we are still on break from school and I had some serious work to do!
But we tried to keep her a little entertained.
Here's our walk at Ironwood.
Thanks mom for watching the kids so I could go run away with the circus!
We had a work outing and it started with a little trapeze.
CA Trip
Then make your own sundaes- they were in heaven!
We spent the 4th of July at Legoland with Cole & Stella and
then Bobby & Chelsey met up with us!
It was such a lifesaver to have Bobby & Chelsey there,
it's hard to pull a 9 hour amusement park day on your own.
So thankful for such awesome cousins!
OK, these are a little out of order- this was our last day in California.
The kids of 10995 Roebling- all those future Bruins in one jacuzzi!
So fun meeting up with the UCLA girls,
too bad I couldn't drink very many mimosas,
must have been the almost 3 bottles of wine Lauren & I drank the night before.
Remind me again why I thought that was a good idea?
The Dragon ride from Legoland.
I had to buy this one- it's classic.
Look at Maya's face, she was laughing the whole way.
This is too tame for Kalia, she did Space Mountain...
Bishop: Part 5
Kalia with her "uncle greg" glasses on!
On game night, Allie put together all of these glasses with tape holding them together, just like Greg's glasses from 2 years ago. During his turn at Balderdash, we all put them on. We all nearly went blind wearing them while we were waiting for him to realize what was going on. It was a long time!
Kalia reeling in her first fish!
Immediately after Maya caught her first fish too (but my camera died), just in time too, since Papa promised her she would catch one soon! I think Papa might be fish psychic.
Kalia is enjoying this!
We thought that we were going to sign them up for a short walk around, being led on foot by someone. But it turned out they were signed up for a 30 minute trail ride- by themselves! Of course, we had to follow along with them up and down the trail, we're not overprotective or anything. But they were perfectly fine and happy and confident on their ride!
