It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas

Decorating the tree last week.
Sorry it's been a crazy week and I'm behind on the blog.
These photos are from a week ago,
the west side was out of trees, so we picked up Kalia from school
and drove to the other side.

Remember this little hat?
Maya

OK, wanted to get a little photo of our advent.
I got this one after Christmas last year and it was hiding
in my closet all year. But it's been so fun- every day
the girls open the day on the box and a part of this forest
scene comes out. Some days it's a reindeer baby, 4 little birds, a tree- so fun!

They are looking so alike in this shot!
Kalia brought the chair over for a photo...

There's our big girl

There's little Maya

Kalia wanted to take some photos and had us pose.

Letters to Santa

quick story:
I was trying to get the girls to write their letters and Maya didn't want to supply any info, so I asked, "should I write that you've been a naughty girl this year?" (and she might have been naughty just before- both girls are choosing a very bad time to push the boundaries) and Maya says, "no, I don't want to get coal in my stocking!"

Letter to Santa in the mail

Maya's turn

Making a garland,

Kalia practices her ABCD patterns

Reindeer cookies

Kalia's gingerbread house she made with her 8th
grade buddy at school.

We've had a crazy couple of weeks, very busy. Kalia ended up sick last week and so we had a very mellow and rainy weekend. Kalia has had a lot of school events- christmas stories and cocoa with 3rd grade buddies, gingerbread house making, christmas party today and tomorrow night will be her Christmas Show. I will take some video!
