Back at the cabin for the 3rd year in a row and the girls know the best spot to be- on the hammock!

OK just really quickly, here's a story from today, Tuesday, August 13, 2013:
Kalia was the star of the day today and being the star of the day, whenever someone needed to be selected, Kalia got to pick the person.  I asked her who she chose and she said, "I picked the people who never get picked.  I've never been picked and I know how that feels.  The same people always get picked.  But today that changed!"

Breaking the law- fishing without a license!
We actually got caught by the game warden, who very kindly let us go with a warning and a promise that we would go get our license.  Which we did.  But I didn't break the law- I was only taking pictures:)  Although, I did lead the fish count that day...

Disneyland

The day after we came back from Parlier, we surprised or tried to surprise the girls with a trip to Disneyland.  Kalia probably heard us say "disneyland" about 4 times and was therefore probably not that surprised and Maya had no idea what Disneyland was, so when we told her she had no reaction.

She also went on Space Mountain- that was actually her first real roller coaster, but it was so dark, that she pretty scared.  But she still wanted to go on the Mattahorn afterwards!

It was a good day.
Maya's favorite ride was It's a Small World- she rode it 3 times.  Thanks Auntie Kim!

Koga Family Reunion 2013

 

 The Koga Family Reunion 2013- Parlier, CA

Our trip to California started with a red eye, arriving at 6am to California.

Mom & Dad picked us up and then we drove immediately to Parlier- we were exhausted!

That night we had dinner at the restaurant- so fun!

This year was by far the most variety and fun as far as games go.
Mini golf, hillbilly horseshoes, cheetos throw, Koga trivia, cottonball flinging!
